Our Wedding

Like many great Chicago love stories, ours started with a dinner reservation. We were introduced to each other in 2020 thanks to mutual friends who clearly have a talent for matchmaking. Our first date was at Trivoli Tavern in West Loop, Chicago, where great food, easy conversation, and many laughs made it pretty clear this was going to be more than just another dinner. From there, we spent plenty of time exploring together—trying new restaurants, wandering different neighborhoods, and planning trips whenever we had the chance. When we weren't out adventuring around the city, we were usually at home cooking together. By 2022, we made it official and moved in together, continuing our shared love of travel, good food, and discovering everything Chicago has to offer. A few years after that first date, Andrew brought things full circle by returning to Trivoli Tavern to propose - proving that sometimes the best love stories really do begin (and continue) at the dinner table. We feel incredibly lucky to have such amazing friends and family in our lives and can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you in Montana. What began with one dinner in Chicago has now led us to the mountains of Montana, where we can’t wait to celebrate the start of forever with the people we love most!

Our Story

Lodging at 320 Guest RanchWe’re so excited to celebrate with everyone in Big Sky for the weekend! The wedding events will take place at 320 Guest Ranch, and the ranch has plenty of cabins available for all our guests. Lodging options range from cozy 1-bedroom cabins to larger 2–3 bedroom houses, which are perfect if you'd like to share with friends or family. Important: Please do not book online. Lodging 

Getting Around Big SkyBig Sky is a beautiful mountain town, but things are a bit more spread out than in a city. Rideshare services (e.g. Uber and Lyft) are not available in Big Sky, so we recommend renting a car during your stay to make getting around easy and to explore the area. If renting a car isn't an option, you can schedule a taxi in advance to get to/from 320 Guest Ranch and the airport. Getting ThereThe closest airport is Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN). The drive from Bozeman Airport to 320 Guest Ranch is about 45 minutes and incredibly scenic. The route is very easy and follows Highway 191 through Gallatin Canyon, with the Gallatin River and beautiful mountain views the entire way — a perfect welcome to Montana!

Travel

One of the best ways to experience Montana is on horseback, and rides are available at the ranch. If you’re interested, please book directly with the ranch—availability is limited and tends to fill up fast. The bride will be heading out on Friday, September 11th at 9:30 AM for a 2-hour trail ride—would love for you to join!

Horseback Riding

The groom will be heading out on Friday, September 11th at 10:00AM for a 3-hour raft trip down the Gallatin River (Gallatin River Classic Half Day Raft Trip (More Challenging)—would love for you to join!

Montana Whitewater Rafting & Zipline - Gallatin

The ranch offers fly fishing lessons right on property. Guests can rent their equipment and sign up at the fly shop located by the registration building. Big Sky Town Center&nbsp;is the vibrant, walkable heart of Big Sky, Montana, featuring a 165-acre hub packed with local shops, diverse dining options, galleries, and year-round events at the intersection of Ousel Falls Road and Lone Mountain Trail. We recommend bringing a jacket, shawl, or extra layer for the evening festivities.Altitude TipBig Sky sits at over 6,000 feet above sea level, so the altitude can sneak up on you if you’re visiting from lower elevations. Drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and pace yourself with cocktails so you can feel your best all weekend. :)
